HealthGuard Ends 2025 with Expanded Community Giving
HealthGuard concluded 2025 with a renewed commitment to housing, food and holiday gifts for children.
The Canadian top-of-bed manufacturer continued its annual toy drive and partnership with Habitat for Humanity, now in its third consecutive year, while sponsoring a local family in need — an expansion of the company’s internal tradition of Secret Santa. Specifically, HealthGuard supported a single mother with a 14-month-old daughter.
“While we set out to brighten someone else’s holiday, we were the ones who felt truly blessed, reinforcing that it is always better to give than to receive,” says Ryan Cleary, HealthGuard vice-president of sales.
The company also collaborated with two long-time customers to contribute to charitable causes in their respective communities. Together, they supported Citygate Network, which serves individuals experiencing homelessness and addiction, and the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, one of the region’s largest hunger-relief organizations.
“As our retail partnerships have expanded, so has our desire to invest in the communities where our customers and employees live and work,” says Greg Hall, president of Healthguard and parent company Bay Street Manufacturing.
HealthGuard was founded in 1991, and is based in Concord, Ont. The brand specializes in residential and commercial sleep accessories, including mattress protectors, pillows, sheet sets, duvet covers and pillow tops.
