Cozey Adds Second Floor to Toronto Flagship Store
Furniture brand Cozey has doubled the size of its Toronto showroom.
The Canadian retailer opened the second floor of its Queen West flagship on Oct. 17, doubling the space to 7,200 square feet from 3,600.
It features a playhouse designed to accommodate parents and families shopping with kids.
Cozey says the expansion was driven by increased store traffic, consumer demand and its growing product lineup.
This year alone, the brand expanded into the bedroom category, introduced three new sofas, including its first-ever curved design, and added new sleeper options and living and dining pieces.
“The renovation couldn’t come at a better time,” says Toronto store manager Taurean Scotland. “It’s much needed, considering how consistently busy the store is.”
The expansion comes just weeks after Cozey opened a permanent store in its hometown of Montreal.
“It’s been incredible to see the customer reaction and store evolution since it first opened,” says Frederic Aubé, founder and CEO of Cozey, referring to the Toronto showroom.
2026 has been a year of significant growth for the brand, marked by new retail locations, product expansions and an e-commerce launch in Australia. The company plans to open a fifth permanent location in Edmonton later this year, followed by its first New York City location in early 2027.
