Greenington Celebrates 20 Years of Sustainable Excellence

Greenington, a trailblazer in sustainable furniture design, marks two decades in business this year.

Since its inception in 2004, Greenington has been at the forefront of crafting high-quality furniture using one of the most renewable resources: bamboo.

“Bamboo is more than a material; it’s a symbol of resilience and renewal,” says Greenington president and founder Yang Lin. “Our commitment to bamboo reflects our commitment to a greener, more harmonious world.”

Lin had more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing bamboo products before he embarked on creating his own line of solid bamboo furniture. His expertise in working with this eco-friendly, rapidly renewable material laid the foundation for Greenington’s enduring success.

“Our journey has been one of purpose and passion,” says Lin. “We celebrate not just our achievements but also the collective impact we’ve had on the environment.”

Greenington’s journey is guided by unwavering principles. The company adheres to strict international standards and has a zero-waste manufacturing process.

Its dedication to sustainability extends beyond the company’s own practices. As a member of the Sustainable Furnishings Council, Greenington actively contributes to advancing eco-friendly practices across the industry.

Greenington’s furniture products are available to Canadian retailers nationwide and can be currently found at Scan Designs and Fawcett Mattress in British Columbia, Konto Furniture in Alberta, and Uptown Living in Ontario.
