Surya Unveils First Outdoor Furniture Collection

Home goods and furniture manufacturer Surya has expanded into the outdoor market.

Debuted at High Point Market, the company’s first-ever outdoor furniture collection rounds out its commitment to providing designers with furnishings for the whole home.

“Surya’s outdoor furniture collection is more than just a category expansion; it’s a natural evolution of our commitment to the way people live today,” says Surya president Satya Tiwari. “We’ve combined great design with materials and construction that stand up to the demands of everyday living.”

The collection features more than 60 pieces spanning lounge seating, sectionals, dining groups, fire tables and more. The launch also includes a 33-piece capsule collection designed in collaboration with renowned designer Ashley Childers.

Each piece in the large assortment features Surya’s signature craftsmanship, exceptional quality and attention to detail — from a five-step aluminum finishing process and two full days of hand-weaving on the Porta collection to the precisely bent, French-inspired curves of the Antibes collection.

Surya says sustainability was a driving force behind new line. Materials, from responsibly sourced Brazilian teak to recyclable aluminum, and eco-friendly production processes were chosen for their long-lasting performance and minimal environmental impact. Cushions are made with Sunbrella performance fabrics, providing durability, ultraviolet protection and ease of care.
