Sunpan Expands Commercial Offering with COM Program
Furniture manufacturer Sunpan has rolled out its Customer’s Own Material (COM) program, expanding customization options to commercial and hospitality projects.
“The launch marks an exciting step forward in the evolution of our contract business. With growing demand for tailored solutions, we knew this was the right time to make it a reality,” says Sunpan president and CEO Sundeep Bagga. “We are proud to now offer this service with the support of our long-standing manufacturing and logistics partners, ensuring our customers receive the same high standards of performance and reliability they expect from us.”
The COM program includes a selection of commercial-grade products, including dining and lounge chairs, barstools and banquettes. Order minimums apply.
It allows customers to personalize Sunpan’s contract-viable frames with their fabric of choice, along with a curated selection of metal and wood finishes.
Other program features include a digital tool on Sunpan’s website that allows customers to preview finishes and fabrics on eligible frames, project management support and extended warranty coverage on select frames.
The furniture brand guarantees all pieces in the program meet rigorous durability and safety standards suitable for commercial use.
To accommodate projects with shorter lead times, Sunpan is also introducing a line of frames that are produced and customized in the United States, exclusively for the COM program.
Headquartered in Toronto, Sunpan specializes in transitional and contemporary furnishings for interior and exterior spaces. The trade-only company sells exclusively to furniture retailers, interior design firms and other members of the design trade.
Sunpan has operated in the hospitality and contract sectors for nearly two decades. Many of the frames in its COM program are already tried and tested in high-traffic commercial spaces.
