Magnussen Home Names VP of Product Development

Furniture industry veteran Fred Schubert has joined Magnussen Home as vice-president of product development.

Schubert brings more than 25 years of experience to the furniture brand. His responsibilities include designing new product collections and strengthening retail partnerships.

Although now a full-time employee, Schubert isn’t a stranger to Magnussen. He collaborated with the company on a freelance basis since 2006, contributing to several of its successful collections, including Calistoga, Bellamy and Ashby.

Magnussen is known for its stylish and functional furnishings across bedroom, dining, home office and occasional categories. The company says it plans to accelerate its product development timeline. Key initiatives include shortening the sampling and market cycles and expanding its e-commerce capabilities.
