HPM registration opens

HIGH POINT, North Carolina (02 February 2016) – Registration for the spring 2016 edition of the High Point Market is now open for buyers, international buyers, exhibitors, trade/industry, press and students, its organisers have announced.

Likened to Fashion Week for home furnishings, the market will be held from Saturday, April 16, 2016 through to Wednesday, April 20, 2016. Online registration is available at www.highpointmarket.org/register.

With the opening of registration also comes a refreshed look for the online registration portal. Developed in partnership with its High Point-based marketing agency, Emisare – and registration partner Showcare Event Solutions – the refreshed registration portal includes several enhancements.

High Point Market Authority (HPMA) officials said these new features will simplify the registration process and ensure each company’s profile contains the most up-to-date contact and employee information. The new system will also insert a barcode into each confirmation email so that passes can easily be printed on-site in case the mailed pass is lost or the registration is received after the mailing deadline.

“We have already sensed a lot of excitement these first few weeks of 2016, so we anticipate a great turnout for spring market,” HPMA president and CEO Tom Conley said in a statement.

With 11.5 million square feet of show space spanning over 180 buildings, High Point Market is believed to be the world’s largest furniture industry trade show. It brings more than 75,000 people to High Point, every six months to view product from more than 2,000 exhibitors. Approximately 10% of attendees are from outside the United States.
