Global Views to Change Representation in Canada

Decorative accessory specialist Global Views is changing its Canadian representation.

As of March 1, the company will be represented by RSC Inc., the Winnipeg-area sales agency for home furnishings company Surya.

RSC has been selling the Surya brand in Canada since 2005.

“They understand the needs of our Canadian customers,” said Global Views in a letter.

Global Views will continue to be represented by Toronto-based lighting distributor Meshworks until the end of February.

The company decided to make the change to streamline the servicing of its brands, which include Global Views, Studio A Home and Signature III.

“We wish to thank Meshworks for their contribution to the Global Views brand,” said the company in the same letter. “They have been a great partner in our journey across Canada.”

In recent months, Global Views has been busy building its service offerings — Surya, Global Views, soon-to-be-launched Mitchell Gold and a higher-end outdoor line — to better cater to the design community and design-driven retailers.
