Dorel Home Recalls More than 70K Wall Beds
Health Canada has issued a recall of a popular series of wall beds manufactured by Dorel Home.
The national health agency cites the beds can become detached from the wall and fall, posing a tip-over and crush hazard that can result in serious injury or death.

As of Nov. 12, Dorel has received 22 reports of beds falling in the United States, and 10 reports of concussions, contusions, cuts and bruises. There has been only report of a bed falling in Canada, and no reports of injury.
The recall involves Dorel full- and queen-sized wall beds sold online between May 2021 and April 2024, under the names Pinnacle, Paramount, Impressions, Holly Hills and Her Majesty Wall Beds, and as part of the brand names Signature Sleep or Novogratz.
Health Canada confirms 2,614 beds sold to Canadian addresses are included in the Dorel wall bed recall, as well as 69,344 bought in the U.S.
The beds were sold in white, light oak, grey oak, black oak, espresso, walnut and natural shades. They were sold with or without cabinets and lighting attached to the bed frame.
