JYSK Re-opens Store in B.C. After Renovations

Danish home furnishings and solutions chain JYSK has completed renovations at its store in Coquitlam, B.C.

The retailer says customers will have a brand-new shopping experience with the new JYSK 3.0 location, which re-opened Sept. 7.

“This store offers a great new layout with JYSK products set up and displayed as you would like to see them in your own home,” says district manager Thomas Sagmoen.

Located at 15 King Edward St. at United Boulevard, the store features furniture, mattresses, bedding, outdoor products and home accessories.

Launched in Canada in 1996, JYSK has continued to grow its Canadian footprint, opening several stores in recent months, including in Blainville and Alma, Que., and Kelowna, B.C., among other locations.

The company says it aims to open 10 new stores in this country each year, with a goal of having at least one JYSK store within 30 minutes of 90 per cent of Canadians.

JYSK is considered one of the world’s fastest growing retailers with more than 3,500 stores in 48 countries.
