Miele Canada to Open Second In-mall Store in Toronto

Miele is among a number of retailers setting up soon-to-open storefronts in CF Sherway Gardens.

The world’s leading manufacturer of premium home appliances will welcome customers to its newest Miele experience centre by the end of May.

The store will mark the second in-mall for Miele in Canada, joining the existing Toronto flagship store in Yorkdale Shopping Centre, and the sixth retail location in this country.

Others can be found in Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal and Vaughan, Ont. — home to the company’s first brick-and-mortar store, which opened in 2006.

In addition to these locations, Miele has a strong presence across Canada in other stores that sell its products.

“The introduction of this new retail space presents an exceptional chance for us to showcase our innovative appliances to the residents of the West Greater Toronto Area, while inviting them to discover an exceptional customer experience (and) explore the Miele brand,” says Phil Angemi, vice-president of sales for Miele Canada.

The Sherway Gardens store will be the company’s smallest at approximately 1,600 square feet. Focusing on fast-moving SKUs, it will showcase appliances from Miele’s latest Generation 7000 cooking line, MasterCool built-in refrigeration, W1 and T1 laundry appliances, coffee machines, an assortment of robot, bagged and bagless canister vacuums, and the latest Triflex cordless stick vacuum cleaners, as well as an assortment of the brand’s cleaning and care products.

Customers will also have the opportunity to experience interactive product demonstrations led by expert sales associates, and obtain insights into the world of Miele craftsmanship and innovation.

Miele was founded by Immer Besser in 1899. Based in Germany, the family-run enterprise is now in its fourth generation and employs a workforce approximately 22,300 people strong. The company’s range of consumer appliances includes vacuum cleaners, laundry systems, rotary irons, dishwashers, ranges, built-in ovens, cooktops, ventilation hoods, refrigeration, wine storage and coffee systems.
