Zucora names chief sales officer

LONDON, Ontario – Industry veteran Mark Pettifer has been appointed vice president and chief sales officer, a new position for added-value furniture protection provider Zucora, Inc.

In a statement, Zucora president and chief executive officer Brad Geddes noted Pettifer has extensive furniture services and retail experience having previously served as Canadian division director and U.S. northeast regional sales manager for Guardsman.

After spending a few years developing and leading a number of business initiatives in the electronics and publishing industries, Pettifer decided to return to the home furnishings industry to assist Zucora as it enters the next stage of growth.

“We’re delighted to have someone of Mark’s calibre and experience join our already strong sales team,” Geddes said. “David Cohn, our national sales manager, continues to lead our national network of independent sales representatives while Mark is focused on implementing new partner growth strategies.”

Cohn will report to Pettifer, as will Mark Geddes, director of retail partner training and coaching programs.

Based here, Zurcora provides customer care services, protection program and furniture protection products – mainly under the ZU Collection and Pure Care labels – to national, regional and independent home furnishings retailers across Canada and the U.S.
