Worldwide Homefurnishings to Open New Showroom

Furniture distributor Worldwide Homefurnishings Inc. is moving into a new, state-of-the-art facility in the Greater Toronto Area.

“(It) marks a significant step in our company’s growth,” says CEO Ronnie Mehta. “Our new facility allows us to better serve our customers with improved logistics and an enhanced showroom environment.”

Located in Gormley, Ont., the facility includes an 8,000-square-foot showroom and 100,000-square-foot warehouse. This will allow for expanded product displays and an improved customer experience, as well as provide increased inventory capacity, enabling Worldwide to improve efficiencies and streamline operations.

The transition will be completed with full business operations on May 26. Grand opening dates will be announced at a later date.

Currently headquartered in Concord, Ont., Worldwide Homefurnishings carries high-quality and affordable home furnishings for living and dining rooms, kitchen, the bedroom and home office.
