Roche Bobois Celebrates 50 Years in Canada with New Store

French luxury furniture brand Roche Bobois has opened a second showroom in Toronto, to mark its 50th anniversary in Canada.

Located in the Castlefield design district, a prime area for interior designers and other luxury furniture brands, the 4,742-square-foot space was designed by Jacqueline Hopfer, head of Roche Bobois’ design department and daughter of iconic Mah Jong sofa designer. It features a striking plant wall, suspended ceilings and intricate wooden claustra.

State-of-the-art digital tools have been incorporated to enhance the customer experience. These include personalized 3-D consultations and connected screens and tablet stands.

Furniture offerings include a curated selection of Roche Bobois’ best-selling pieces and iconic collections, including Mah Jong, Aqua, Lift, Bubble, Furtif and Astréa.

This showroom brings the chain’s total number of locations in Canada to eight, with seven directly operated stores and the other a franchise in Quebec City.
