Sundays Deepens L.A. Presence with Second Showroom
Canadian furniture brand Sundays has expanded its U.S. footprint with the launch of a new showroom in California.
Opened in Santa Monica in late June, the 2,100-square-foot store was designed by Barcelona-based Colapso Studio, the firm behind Sundays’ Vancouver Terminal HQ and New York City outposts. A yellow-tiled coffee counter and a Vermillion-stained island anchor the space, creating a hub for community events. Best sellers showcased in-store include the Field and Plane dining tables, and Get Together and Chill Time sofas, as well as new additions like the Square Up collection.
This is Sundays’ second location in Los Angeles. The Santa Monica showroom is intended to complement the brand’s smaller store in Pasadena, which opened in late 2025.
The new California showrooms follow a model Sundays has established: leveraging e-commerce data and temporary stores to test a market, then committing to permanent retail once consumer demand proves itself.
Sundays’ Toronto location began as a pop-up that eventually became a brick-and-mortar store, and the same pattern played out with its NYC expansion. In L.A., the brand’s pop-up at Platform LA was originally conceived as a short-term activation running from March to April 2024. Strong customer response quickly changed those plans: the pop-up was extended multiple times and remained open through 2025, giving Sundays time to validate demand and find a permanent Santa Monica location.
The brand’s footprint now includes four Canadian locations — two in Vancouver, and one each in Calgary and Toronto — plus three in the United States.
The company was founded as an e-commerce initiative in 2019, by siblings Moe Jr. and Sara Samieian, who are also co-CEOs of Moe’s Home Collection, along with Moe Jr.’s wife, Barbora, and Noah Morse, who serves as head of product.
