Sundays Continues to Grow Retail Footprint

Vancouver-based furniture brand Sundays has opened a second showroom in the city.

Calling it Terminal HQ, the company says the new location marks a significant milestone in its evolution from a small family-led business into a growing multi-brand portfolio.

The 15,000-square-foot space serves as both a retail destination and operational headquarters, bringing both functions under one roof. It also houses the company’s newly launched sister brand Hetta’s first-ever physical retail presence in Canada.

Terminal HQ was designed by Barcelona-based Calapso Studio. The larger format showroom allows Sundays to feature a wider range of furniture collections. Lifestyle settings allow shoppers to better envision how pieces will fit in their homes.

The brand sells sofas, sectionals and other seating, beds, tables, outdoor furniture, storage solutions like media units, dressers, sideboards and decorative accessories. Furniture pieces are modern and functional, warm and laidback.

Sundays was founded as an e-commerce initiative in 2019, by siblings Moe Jr. and Sara Samieian (also co-CEOs of Moe’s Home Collection), Moe Jr.’s wife Barbora and Noah Morse, who serves as head of product.

Other Canadian showrooms can be found in Toronto and Calgary, the company’s largest outside its home market.

Sundays’ presence can also be found stateside, with showrooms in New York City and in Pasadena, Calif.
