Programming for Summer Las Vegas Market Announced

Las Vegas Market has unveiled a full slate of programming to round out its summer sourcing event, with live seminars, including five CEU-eligible courses, community-focused parties, and amenities that include a grab-and-go breakfast and happy hour.

Seminars and expert-led how-to sessions will lead market-goers to insightful conversations and industry-specific discovery. Nearly 10 programs offer actionable tips and techniques across retail, business and interior design.

At-market programming opens with The Everygirl Media Group’s CEO, Alaina Kaczmarski, presenting The Everygirl’s Guide to Gift Curation, offering sourcing strategies from trend reports and The Everygirl’s content methods. Retail coach and Bocu CEO Kristin Fisher follows with Discover Your Next Best-Seller: A Buyer Coaching Session to help buyers elevate their assortment strategy. Erica Kirkland, editor of Giftbeat, moderates the Retail Roundtable on day two, to deliver exclusive insights about tech stacks, key selling and staffing tips, and peer-to-peer discussion. Linda Holt continues her photography journey in Mastering Smartphone Photography, a hands-on workshop complete with product vignettes and personalized guidance, on the fourth day of the market.

Interior design-focused programming begins with designer and television personality Kathy Kuo in Trends that Sell: Best Selling Items for 2024 and Beyond, guiding buyers through e-commerce analytics, the value of data and what’s truly trending. Moderated by podcast host and author LuAnn Nigara, Kate O’Hara of O’Hara Interiors and Leigh Lincoln and Aly Morford of Pure Salt Interiors present How Two Interior Design Titans Scaled their Business and Kept Growing. Sherwin-Williams senior designer account executive Laurie Clark will give an exclusive colour and design forecast for 2025. Renowned hospitality designer Roger Thomas presents Resort Style: Spaces of Celebration in a seminar and book signing. Ahead of the Curve features Pure Salt Interiors, Collective Design Build and NeKeia & Co., as they provide designer insights.

The 2024 ANDYZ Awards honours the year’s best design projects at an industry celebration on the afternoon of July 28. Later in the day is the market kickoff party, with entertainment and drinks in the courtyard. Held simultaneously is the Culinary Futures Benefit, which includes a cocktail reception and silent auction to raise funds for the Culinary Academy of Las Vegas.

In addition to on-site entertainment, pre-registered buyers have the opportunity to win one of five giveaways to enjoy while visiting Las Vegas Market.

Leading up to the event, two educational webinars geared toward retailing optimization will be offered, one providing smartphone photography tips and the other a coaching session that addresses profitable retailing, gift sourcing and more. Pre-market education is free and requires registration.

Owned and operated by Andmore, the summer edition of Las Vegas Market runs for its usual five days, July 28-Aug. 1, at World Market Centre. Held twice yearly, it is the leading home furnishings and gift market in the western United States, presenting thousands of furniture, home decor and gift resources in a single destination.
