Kingsdown Rolls Out Tech-rich Mattress

High-end mattress producer Kingsdown has unveiled its newest collection, Silent Partner XTech.

The line is designed with a range of materials, which, combined, help with temperature regulation, pressure relief, motion separation and more.

Specifically, the mattress features XTech Carbon, XTech Cool and XTech Coil technologies. XTech Carbon is part of the quilting layer. It’s a fabric woven with trilobal carbon thread that captures electrons and filters them into the air. This releases tension and lowers cortisol levels, says the company, promoting deeper relaxation and recovery. XTech Cool is two strategically embedded graphite strips positioned in the centre of the mattress to help regulate body temperature while reducing heat transfer between sleep partners. XTech Coil is Kingsdown’s new wave coil system that includes motion separation and reinforced edge coils for consistent support.

Silent Partner XTech is available exclusively at this country’s largest specialty bedding retailer, Sleep Country Canada, online and in-store. Four comfort feels are offered — extra firm tight top, firm tight top, and two varieties of Euro top.

Kingsdown operates a number of factories and distribution centres in Canada, including Ontario, Calgary and Shawinigan, Que., in addition to its facilities in the United States and other global locations.
