IDD Cologne Returns in 2026 with New Offerings

Capitalizing on the momentum of its successful debut in fall 2025, IDD Cologne has announced the dates of this year’s trade fair.

The exclusive interior design event returns to Cologne Oct. 30-31, where it will feature inspiring brand presentations and showcase the city’s vibrant design culture.

The new edition will sharpen its focus, specifically targeting the residential sector and homing in on high-quality home living, interior design trends, materials and design concepts for private living spaces.

As an added bonus, this year’s IDD Cologne will take place in conjunction with Orgatec, Oct. 27-30, the leading international trade fair for workspace and contract solutions. Show organizer Koelnmesse decided to overlap the events in response to industry demand.

Under the banner ‘hybridID’ (hybrid interior design), companies exhibiting at Orgatec can target trade visitors from the office, contract and public space segments in two halls. On the last day of that trade fair, the hybridID halls will open their doors to a wider audience under the IDD Cologne brand. The offering will then be aimed specifically at interior professionals with a focus on private living spaces, as well as private visitors interested in design.
