Furniture Industry Veteran Joins Leather Seating Manufacturer

Creation Italia has named Lee Boone president of its Digio brand’s North American division.

He will oversee all sales, marketing and distribution activities for the brand in Canada, the United States and Mexico.

Boone brings more than 35 years of industry experience to the role. He has held leadership positions at Legacy Classic Furniture, Samuel Lawrence Furniture and HMI, both divisions of Hooker Furnishings, and Luxfort Home. Most recently, he served as CEO of HH2 Home.

The furniture industry veteran succeeds Steve Lush, who left Creation Italia in May 2025 to form motion upholstery resource 16 West Home.

Creation Italia is a vertical leather seating manufacturer and global leather resource based in Matera, Italy. The company owns the Incanto, Digio by Sofitalia and Ambiente sofa beds brands, and operates multiple showrooms in High Point, N.C.
