Familiar Face to Head ISFD Executive Board

Scott Coley has returned as executive board president of the International Society of Furniture Designers (ISFD).

As president, his primary goal is to help create a clear vision and strategic plan for ISFD’s future — one that reflects the evolving needs of furniture designers and the broader industry.

“The industry is changing rapidly and ISFD plays a crucial role in helping designers stay connected, inspired and professionally supported,” he says.

The lead furniture designer at and owner of D. Scott Coley Designs, Coley brings 34 years of ISFD membership and leadership to the role. He served as president from 1997-1999, two terms as board chair, and on the membership and Pinnacle Awards committees.

Coley succeeds Steve Wilcox, principal and president of Furnishings Design Inc., who served as executive board president for the past four years.
