Amax Leather Canada Carves Out New Position

Amax Leather Canada has appointed Bonnie Chen as its new sales support manager of Canadian operations, a new position for the upholstery resource.

“We are well pleased to have Bonnie join the team. She will be deeply involved in the launch of our new DDC (direct delivery to the consumer) program while assisting our existing brick-and-mortar retail partners,” Amax Leather Canada president Kevin Lee said in a statement.

With over 18 years in customer service, sales co-ordination, and talent recruiting, Lee said Chen’s passion is to improve the overall branding experience from initial conversation to after sales support. “With her previous experience in retail management, Amax can ensure our clients they will be well taken care of,” he added.

Prior to joining Amax, Chen was Western Canada sales manager for Global Retail Brands Australia. She also held store and regional management responsibilities at Sunglass Hut, a retailer specializing in sunglasses and other non-prescription eyewear products. She is also a graduate of Vancouver’s Capilano University with a degree in business administration and management.

Chen will report to Lee and be based at Amax’s head office here.
